Bostonie Munthali, Krone Ambassador

You poured Krone vintage-only Cap Classique at CultR fest in Joburg for the attending guests, how was the experience?

It was an amazing experience! What made it even more special was that it was also my very first event representing Krone.

Apparently you really enjoyed the art, what were some of your favourite moments at the exhibition?

The whole event set-up was incredible and so well organised. I really enjoyed meeting all the great personalities and seeing their inspiring artworks. The top moment for me was the unveiling of BMW car painted by Themba Mwanza, he is such a genius. It was also amazing to see how the guests reacted to Krone Cap Classique, I felt really proud.

How are you enjoying Tulbagh?

I love the calmness of Tulbagh and how friendly the people are. I also really enjoy the organic garden down at Church Street that produces fresh, healthy vegetables and herbs.

Have you enjoyed learning about Cap Classique, and how it’s made?

Yes, I have enjoyed each and a very part of the process. I have always wondered how bottle-fermented wine was made and now being part of the team Krone has solved that mystery, it has been an amazing journey. My favourite Krone Cap Classique is the Amphora, which is fermented in amphorae and made in a very natural style where nothing is added.

Join us at Twee Jonge Gezellen for a tasting of Vintage-Only Krone Cap Classique, all tastings are by reservation and you can book directly online.
